  • Marcos Morales - AZ

    CHAIR

    Current Execuetive Director of Hogar Hispano Inc. who has dedicated his life to rebuilding and stabilizing distressed, underserved communities of color by creating housing opportunities and providing financial resources to positively impact individuals and families. Through the financial support of private and public capital made possible by Community Reinvestment Act eligible programming, Marcos and his team have developed a successful, replicable model that has assisted in recovering Black, Latino and other minority communities throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

    VICE CHAIR

    Past chair of the National Newspaper Publishers Association Foundation. The NNPAF is responsible for the Black Press Institute and NorthStar Center for Civic Journalism, Black Press Archives and Hall of Fame at Howard University, and BlackPressUSA network of information portals. Served as an officer of the Board of Directors of the San Bernardino NAACP, Inland Empire Urban League, co-founder of the Orange County Black Chamber of Commerce, Inland Empire African American Chamber of Commerce, the Westside Action Group, San Bernardino Boys and Girls Club, and the Arrowhead United Way.

    Dina Harris is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of National Faith Homebuyers. Thanks to her experience in the public housing sector and dedication to clients, National Faith HomeBuyers has helped over 5,000 families purchase homes or continue to stay in their home since the program’s founding in 1996.

    Harris has more than 40 years of experience in the housing industry. She has served as a director of the Washtenaw Home Buyers Program and Faith Community Homebuyers prior to founding National Faith HomeBuyers.

  • Adam Briones - CA

    TREASURER

    Adam Briones is the Chief Executive Officer of California Community Builders (CCB), where he leads research, advocacy, and community organizing efforts to end Californias racial wealth gap and housing crisis for communities of color. Prior to CCB, Adam was the Senior Director of Economic Equity of the Greenlining Institute where he helped to secure over $10 billion in community reinvestment commitments from large financial institutions. Previously, Adam spent a decade in housing development and real estate finance, primarily in New York. His work there included acting as Vice President of Real Estate Development at the Genesis Companies, one of the city’s most active African American-owned affordable housing developers.

    CHIEF RELATIONSHIP OFFICER

    Marcia Griffin is on a mission to strengthen people, elevate partners, and enhance communities across America. As founder and president of HomeFree-USA, Marcia has helped thousands to achieve and retain the dream of homeownership and greater wealth. Serving as a bridge between financial institutions and the community, Marcia addresses the needs of homebuyers and homeowners with targeted education, distinctive marketing strategies and lender partnerships. She is a tireless advocate for nonprofit homeownership organizations. Under her leadership, her organization funds and strengthens the capacity of 53 other nonprofits that represent the interests of 4.5 million diverse families across the country.

  • Natalie Aguilera - CA

    BOARD MEMBER

    Natalie Aguilera is Chief Administrative Officer at Native American Health Center. She is currently in her 17th year at NAHC and is driven by her passion to stay connected with, and give back to the community. Natalie has grown with the small but mighty NAHC team, and contributed to its growth from an organization of 150 staff to close to 300 today. Natalie’s work and advocacy extends to the statewide and national level. She is an active leader and serves as a Board Member with the California Consortium for Urban Indian Health (CCUIH), as well as a leader with the National Council of Urban Indian Health organization (NCUIH).

  • Pastor Alonzo Bell - MI

    BOARD MEMBER

    Alonzo Bell is the Pastor of Martin Evers Missionary Baptist Church, a community leader dedicated to social justice and advocacy for marginalized populations. With a focus on equitable access to wealth and opportunities for Black and Brown communities, he leverages his background in education and finance to empower individuals through the church and the non-profit organization he founded. As the Vice President of Pathways Academy High School, the only accredited high school in Michigan dedicated to teen parents, he established Redeem Detroit to provide comprehensive support for the graduates, aiming to break the cycle of poverty with a specific emphasis on homeownership and entrepreneurship.

    EXECUETIVE DIRECTOR

    John Gamboa is the Founder, former Board Chair, and Strategic Advisor to the CEO of California Community Builders. and the Greenlining Institute. Throughout his career John has focused on public policy issues that promote economic development in urban and low-income areas, and in developing future leaders within this country’s minority youth. He has been active in combating redlining and in providing a voice for the poor and underserved in insurance, philanthropy, banking, housing, energy, higher education and telecommunications issues.

  • Julius Robinson - CA

    STEERING COMMITTEE CHAIR

    Julius Robinson, Managing Director, serves as Head of MUFG Union Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Group for the Americas. He is responsible for company-wide CSR strategy and programs in the United States, Latin America and Canada, including charitable giving, community outreach, environmental stewardship, and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) compliance and investment. Mr. Robinson also oversees the bank’s government relations activities and the MUFG Union Bank Foundation, the nonprofit entity that acts as the agent for the bank’s charitable contributions.

    COALITIONS COORDINATOR

    Sylvia brings over 15 years experience in operations and leadership roles in the public and private sectors. In her role as Chief Operating Officer of California Community Builders, her primary responsibility is ensuring optimal operational efficiency and effectiveness. She has extensive experience in communications, organizational development, and leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of California, Berkeley and a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Psychology.
