The Convening

The National Alliance to Close the Wealth Gap is a coalition of organizations working to increase housing supply and home ownership. This event will bring together community-based organizations, housing policy experts, and other stakeholders to review efforts to increase housing production across the US. The goal is to create unlikely alliances to further the pro-housing movement, especially among communities of color.

    1. Lend your voice to a necessary conversation centered on creating equity in the realm of homeownership, exploring solutions that can improve housing access.

    2. Learn from featured experts and thought leaders who provide valuable insights and information, as well as innovative policies, best practices, and new research.

    3. Network with professionals, policymakers, advocates, and key stakeholders from various sectors involved in affordable housing and homeownership.

    4. Access resources and tools that can aid in addressing housing challenges effectively.

    5. Engage in a collaborative session to brainstorm solutions to complex issues related to housing supply and equity in homeownership.

    6. Expose yourself to technological innovations in housing construction, finance, property management, and other areas that can improve efficiency and affordability.

Gruenberg, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Ranking Member of the House Financial Services Committee, Senator Sherrod Brown, and Speaker of the House Congressman Mike Johnson to discuss that abundant housing is not just an economic issue, but also a civil rights issue.
