The Convening
The National Alliance to Close the Wealth Gap is a coalition of organizations working to increase housing supply and home ownership. This event will bring together community-based organizations, housing policy experts, and other stakeholders to review efforts to increase housing production across the US. The goal is to create unlikely alliances to further the pro-housing movement, especially among communities of color.

Expedition Day
The Alliance and California Consumer Defense League met with FDIC Chair Martin J. Gruenberg, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Ranking Member of the House Financial Services Committee, Senator Sherrod Brown, and Speaker of the House Congressman Mike Johnson to discuss that abundant housing is not just an economic issue, but also a civil rights issue.
